About opinions

Everyone has an opinion about how you should live your life. I know I do. Even the woman selling pepper at your street junction has several too. She thinks you shouldn’t wear fitted ripped jeans that show your clean thighs, and you think she shouldn’t tie the same dirty wrapper everyday.

Don’t wager your authenticity and unique power of choice because you feel you have to please someone.

But there’s a trick. Some advice come in handy, even a drunk speaks truth most times (albeit misplaced in the time).

The society that seeks to mould you is like your mirror. It may see what you don’t see and it may genuinely want to help you correct your flaws, but remember, it doesn’t see what you have on the inside.

You have that proprietary knowledge. Check your thoughts, your intents, your life, and make sure that what you do is rightly placed in the context of your authentic self.

But if your authentic self is a danger to other people, then this post is not for you. The society maybe right in what it sees.
