Hello all who have come to this article. I am considering putting some of my thoughts and experiences to digital paper. Partially because I like to write but also because those around me are encouraging me to do this. So I cautiously dip my toes in the water…

My name is Bob. I am very fortunate. While I’d like to say I’m defined by my accomplishments and character, coming into existence at this time and at this place was certainly a good start. We all are a mix of many things. If I had to simply describe myself, then it would be martial artist and engineer. Of course there’s more than that and more for another time, but I would say those two things typically define my perspective and reactions.

I think most of my writings will fall into a few categories:

I am an expert in NONE of these things. I’ve been around the sun enough times that I’ve accumulated experiences that may be of some value. I will use this space to share them, to potentially grow as a writer, and continue in my journey of learning.
