The core 4 online business models

I was raised on blue collar work ethic. If work was easy, then it was viewed as less valuable. Hard labour in exchange for money was instilled in my mind growing up. If only someone would have introduced me to these four successful online business models eight or nine years ago, things would have been much different.

Day 2 of the Legendary Marketer 15 day Challenge starts off with Dave Sharpe, CEO of Legendary Marketer, talking about the four key requirements for any business to be considered successful. First, it must be location independent. A business that doesn’t require you to be there physically and one that you could do from anywhere in the world. Second, it must be an online business with minimal overhead costs and start-up headaches, and must generate fast profits. If it’s slow profits, then it’s not considered successful, at least in this realm of things. Third, it must be “ELF”, which is an acronym for easy, lucrative and fun, and not “HALF”, which stands for hard, annoying, lame and frustrating. And forth, it must satisfy all three Jay Abrahams’ profit activators, which are:

a) Get more customers

b) Do repeat business with those same customers

c) Sell higher ticket products to increase revenue

Let’s talk about the four successful online business models that you could use to build a business that gives you freedom, helps you cut costs and gives you the kind of life that you had always imagined.

Number one is affiliate marketing. It satisfies all the key requirements necessary for a business to be considered successful. You are not location dependent, neither is your physical presence required. You can get more customers, can do repeat business with those customers and it gives you the ability to sell high ticket products to increase profits.

Number two is digital products where you share your wisdom and turn it into a video or an audio or a written product. This is the most convenient way for people to go online, go through a course and learn the skills necessary to build a career and an income stream. And the best part about it is that you only have to create this product once for you to sell it over and over again.

Number three is coaching and consulting. This model satisfies all of Jay Abrahams’ profit aviators, cuts your overhead costs down and you can do this from anywhere in the world. And the exciting thing is that not only you can do one-on-one coaching but this models allows you to take on multiple clients at the same time. This is a great way of ascending your services to generate more revenue.

Fourth is the events and masterminds. People are willing to pay a high price to attend events and masterminds because that is the most intimate way for anyone to spend time with you and learn from you. Because it’s such a personal thing people don’t mind paying more.

A business that gives you freedom and your desired lifestyle is priceless. I know this because I have been stuck at mine for way too long. But in order to live the kind of life that I am working so hard for, I now know that I need to implement these four business models in my online business venture to experience true freedom.
