Indication of Alabama special election

Doug Jones just won the special election for the United States Senate in Alabama. He is the first Democrat to win a U.S. Senate seat in the state since 1992. Commentators said that it is because of the Trump effect. If it is the whole story, I doubt it is a sad story, if not, at least, it is a bad story.

Here is a simple logic. If you don’t like somebody or something, the easy way you then choose is to go to the opposite side. But the truth is that the opposite side is not a choice. It is mostly the other side of the same coin. What we have to question is that what is the real change? There are some points should bear in mind.
