Introduction to Arduino

As we heard about embedded systems which are combination of the hardware, software and real time operating system. “Arduino” is a embedded system which is used in many projects and company for sensing and controlling the behavior of objects in physical and digital world. Arduino is an open source electronics platform with its own Arduino IDE (accepts C or C++) which can run on Windows, Linux and also on Mac. It is generally a mini microcontroller which is efficient to control the sensors behavior and gets the data from those sensors depending on the surrounding conditions.
The most commonly used Arduino is “Arduino Uno” which is based on Microchip ATmega328P microcontroller. Arduino Uno board have sets of 14 digital and 6 analog (I/O) pins that can interfaced with various sensors and other circuits. It is programmable with the Arduino IDE. It’s operating voltage is around 5V and I/P voltage around 7 to 12V. Others Arduino namely

3. Arduino Duemilanove
4. Arduino Nano
5. Arduino Mega etc.
Applications:
It’s widely used in the project works like
1. Bluetooth controlled car
2. Radar system
3. Fancy light controller
4. Home automation
5. Audio meter etc.
