WAIT UNTILL YOU UNDERSTAND THEIR MOTIVE BEFORE DEEMING EVIL.

I am a Tanzanian citizen and through my religious experience i have come accross a “trick” misunderstanding and given me a motive to write for awareness.

“Swahili” is a language that in most cases may have terms with more than one meaning, but when used most people will only refer to one. I will go directly to the word trick, which translate to “HILA” in swahili

This word “Trick(Hila)” is mostly termed as deceit, crafty, cunning, conspiracy, mislead etc and in most cases spoken when referring to secret agendas hidden to destroy over the beautiful plan that is said to build. In other words when someone says something that is good to our ears but beneath it has a bad motive towards us.

The awareness am creating to all of us reading this, is that the same word “Trick(Hila)” can mean strategy, subterfuge, camouflage, etc meaning that someone can have a good motive and find a way to get into bad people and change their moral ways or find a way to pass through other bad people so they save their lives.

For example;

Now imagine you are born believing in religion A, when persuing your strategy to adopt other people from their denomination with your tricks, people from the other religion (religion B) will deem you Evil and define the ways you are using are deceitful or misleading and they will use the term “HILA” defining you having bad motive, say you are evil, but hey, remember your motive is not bad, actualy you are not evil, you are just doing what you believe to be good, now just because it doesn’t get in line with their believe that is when they will call you Evil.

On the other side, your own denomination (Religion A) will never accept to call the “cunning ways” that you are using to adopt others “Trick(HILA)” they will try to deny it and substitute to other synonyms.

So as i conclude i would love to voice this out that if we are to use the term “HILA” as a “bad motive” we should wait until we understand the other side motive before deeming them Evil or we should accept it and use it both ways that a trick(Hila) can either have good or bad intentions.
