Important things that learned after publishing 500 stories

I joined Medium in 2020. It’s been more than a year on this platform. Before, I joined Medium I was going through the hard times of my life. That was the moment when I discovered that writing is the only thing that makes me feel good about myself. Then, I decided to post it online. Before I publish my stories on Medium, I used to publish my work on Facebook and Instagram. I was looking for a platform to publish my stories. After searching and trying so many platforms, I finally found Medium. I didn’t spend more than a week on any other writing platform. On the other side, here I am writing for almost 1.5 years. Today when I was writing my draft, I saw that I already published more than 500 stories. I can’t believe that I can write that much.

The journey of Medium was not easy at all. There were days when I thought of quitting it. There were days when no one read my work and if you are the one who just started writing then you can relate to this for sure. If you are a beginner then I would suggest you keep writing and don’t quit.

I used to write for my passion and hobby. I never thought that writing has so many other benefits. Writing can change you overall as a person.

Writing can heal you and improve your mental health. Medium made it possible for me to create a daily writing schedule.

I was inconsistent was so many things in my life. Medium taught me the importance of being consistent.
