Facing your failures

Funds collection for Edhi (another day) before that I collected funds individually from my own circle. A simple tactic I used was to text my fellows and friends asking them to share their donation but this time it was a group activity in fact the batch activity so the first challenge was to get together at a spot and then to move for funds collection because before that I was doing it in my circle so have not found such problem of availability of everyone or to plan gathering at a spot.

I had a lot of fears that time that if the people would ignore, or they simply refuse to donate and if they argue etc. Because it was first experience of fund raising from public and to visit in such a massive group of youngsters.

We overcame first challenge of get together at a point by proper discussion and deciding a suitable time and point for majority of us.

It was much different than last week experience because in my own people I was not afraid of rejection or arguments what they did was just to give as amount as they thought possible but with public some people were like what is the proof, why we should donate you, and questions like that and rejections, refusals.

At first I thought how would it be possible! when even a professor refused to donate but the as a team our courage was so high that we didn’t quit and continued fundraising instead of the refusals and at the end I actually realized that it was not that difficult I imagined of.

It gave me a lesson for life that don’t imagine things that much difficult that you cannot do it just Start with a ray of hope within and surely you will end up learning and making a different and I definitely am practicing this lesson in my life and will be the agent of change IA.
